We take an immense amount of pride in our work and customer experience. From the very first interaction, until years after we’ve finished painting - your complete satisfaction with our communication and workmanship is our primary concern.
Because of our focus on customer service, we do things a bit differently. This is how our estimates look:
- At the time of the scheduled estimate, we will show up exactly on time, and communicate with you if anything changes.
Walkthrough (15-20 minutes)
Whether it’s interior or exterior, you need to show us the entire project. Here we can discuss any minor maintenance that is needed, point out any questionable areas, let you see these areas firsthand, and how we will address the potential problems. In doing this walkaround, both you and the estimator will understand exactly how the job will roll out and the proper expectations will be set. It will allow us to give you an accurate and fair price.
The Numbers (15-20 minutes)
Once we've taken all necessary measurements, and have a solid understanding of the exact scope of work that you are hoping to have completed, the estimator will go out to their vehicle and calculate the exact time it will take to complete your project, as well as the exact amount of paint and materials needed. We'll then write a detailed proposal outlining what we intend on doing for you, along with an exact price. During this time you can view our many before and after pictures on our website and on our social media.
Proposal Review (10-15 minutes)
When finished writing up the proposal, we'll come back in and we can sit at the kitchen table to review the detailed proposal to make sure the work outlined is exactly what you’re looking for. Once we have established this, you can look forward to us painting your home! The estimate and contract we provide you with will probably be a lot more comprehensive than anything you have received. This is how we do business, we don’t cut corners, and we make sure to take the time to understand what will make you happy.
Proactive Issue Prevention
Taking the time to properly outline the project will help reduce or eliminate problems later. When problems occur on a project, 90% of the time they occur for one or more of these three reasons:
1) Communication
It is imperative that we are all on the same page. If both spouses are to be involved in any part of the painting project, we need to know about it to learn about their needs and concerns. From the estimate through job completion, we will do our best to maintain communication and understand your needs in order to deliver the best experience possible.
2) Expectations
We’ve all been in situations where we expected one thing to happen and it turned out quite differently. It is key that we are all on the same page in terms of what you want as customers and what we can realistically deliver as a company. Please be open with us throughout the entire process so that we may understand and exceed your expectations.
3) Extra Costs
Nobody likes to have one idea of cost and then find out that there will be additional costs. Most people have a budget that they are operating from. We will take the time to perform a thorough analysis of the job and prepare a detailed estimate for the project as you explain it to us. Changes to the cost only occur when there are changes to the scope or specifications of the job. Please help us reduce or eliminate additional costs by being as clear as possible about what work you would like us to do.
